Metro Channel, which is available on all of Long Island (channels 16 and 18), New York City (Time Warner), and parts of Connecticut and New Jersey, has been showing a well-edited 15-minute segment of a longer Norbert Krapf reading from Bittersweet Along the Expressway since early 2001.
There is a website (www.msgmetro.com, click on SHOWS and then "The Unblinking Eye," the name of the series) which lists a schedule; but the information is not always up to date. Usually, during the week such programs are shown several times during the day (ch.16) and again at night (ch.18), for an extended period of time.
