The following is the text of
the title poem:
Peyton Potter Rides His
Unicorn
Grandson,
you are standing on the flat
back
of your unicorn riding straight ahead
under
a rainbow, no need to wear a hat,
holding
in your hand your magic wand
that
can take you anywhere your
little
boy’s heart and soul may want.
Who
are you today? Oh, Harry Potter!
I’m
so sorry, magician! I should have known!
Maybe
you will have a dragon daughter.
Grandpa,
grandpa, her name is Norberta
She’s
not my daughter, but my dragon!
You
gotta get your Opa act togetha!
My
wand can write & conduct a symphony!
My
Mama will play her violin very sweetly!
Come
on, please, Opa! Please listen to me!
Look
it! Here comes my Norberta a-flying.
Grandpa,
Opa, you just got to come along.
You
are the right Norbert to come riding.
